As the Facilities & Office Services Specialist you will ensure that daily operations and management of AMETEK's corporate headquarters is managed efficiently.
HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:
- Manage all building related contracts and vendor relationships including property management, security, supplies, plants, postage vending and more.
- Resolve maintenance issues directly or through vendors and / or property management firm.
- Manage the building security vendor and security procedures.
- Primary contact and responsible for addressing security calls after hours.
- Assist in managing the Office Services budget including tracking monthly cost, re-forecasting and setting annual budget.
- Process all vendor payments relating to building management.
- Responsible for access fob generation and tracking
- Responsible for posting all USPS outgoing mail.
- Order and restock all break room supplies; pick up and distribute mail and packages.
- Support the on-boarding of new hires by preparing office space, office furniture, and access fobs.
- Maintain Emergency Management procedures for the office and work with local authorities on fire drills.
- Perform building maintenance as required (i.e. shoveling or salting paths) and run errands on occasion.
- Assist with corporate event planning and coordination of logistics by setting up rooms for various meetings, including movement of tables, chairs, and possibly small furniture.
- Serve as the “Daily” back up to receptionist during lunch breaks.
- Ad-hoc/other duties as assigned.
WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE ROLE:
- Minimum of 5-7 years’ experience in building/facilities management, including property management, vendor contracts and budgeting.
- Basic competency in the use of Word and Excel, and the ability to learn building automation, security, and purchasing software.
- Familiarity with mail room equipment.
- Exceptional customer service aptitude to address the needs of internal and external stakeholders.
- Professional communication skills for phone and in person interactions.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and move light furniture.
- Access to automobile and current valid driver’s license.
