Position Title:
Fabricator - 1st Shift
Wage: $19/hour
Shift:
1st
Hours: Monday-Friday 7am-3:30pm
If you are a hardworking individual with previous fabrication or assembly experience, QPS might have the perfect 1st Shift position for you We are hiring a Fabricators at a Kansas City, MO based company.
The company does boast opportunities for growth in the areas of assembly, machine operation, and welding as well This is an associate to hire opportunity.
Fabricator Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Operate rotary chop saw and band saw to cut pipes and products to length
- Handle movement of pipe along the length of table and off load to a cart or crate for staging in loading area
- Operate Victaulic or Pace Grooving machine for a grooved pipes and products end process
- Operate bench grinder to apply required end to threaded rod for application of hanger devices
- Push pipe carts of pipe to load area for loading purposes
- Operate pneumatic staple gun to staple cardboard box to pallet
- Operate threader to apply thread to desired pipe
- Operate band saw in order to cut threaded rod to specified lengths
- Install hanger devices to specified lengths of threaded rod
- Handle additional tasks necessary to fulfill the needs of the company and the customer as deemed by the fabrication lead, fabrication manager, or branch operations manager
Fabricator Requirements:
- Stand for entire shift
- Lift up to 50lbs
- Warehouse experience preferred
- Sitdown forklift experience preferred
- Good attendance is a must
