- Conversant in computer operations, spreadsheet, and word processing programs. Ability to learn and use all other software and computing products assigned.
- Clear and professional communication via all mediums (i.e. phone, email, messaging) in the English language, Bilingual preferred

- Ability to identify product defects visually and with measurement tools (tape measure, caliper, etc), record and report issues

- Ability to operate a forklift to lift and move pallets to aid in the counting and packaging of items
- Regularly lift 50lbs or more
The Quality Control Department of Gerlinger Steel is open Monday to Friday from 4am to 6pm and the typical week is scheduled for 50+ hours. You would be responsible for inspecting and verifying materials in the warehouse and components from production for defects or variances from order documents. This position operates independently from other departments while maintaining a high level of communication on issues that arise.
