We are looking to hire a part-time Fabric Cutter with strong knowledge and understanding of textiles in relation to the process of laying and cutting fabric, and manufacturing clothing. The Fabric Cutter's main responsibility will be tracing patterns, cutting fabrics with an industrial cutting machine, and keeping an organized record of materials for the floor manager. This position requires an individual that will need to express creativity, originality, and critical thinking skills in order to problem solve and carry out day to day tasks. This position does require some math skill. Some of the requirements for this position will include:
· 1+ years experience in fabric cutting preferred
· Must be able to stand/be on their feet all day
· Keep an organized record of cut materials
· Pull fabrics for cuts (Must be able to lift 50 lb.)
· Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
· Ability to communicate effectively and work cooperatively with others.
· Ability to complete tasks in a timely manner.
· Ability to maintain consistent attendance and punctuality.
