Job Description
- Responsible for monitoring tool performance and scheduling and performing preventative maintenance on your assigned area's equipment.
- 12-hour shifts (roughly 40 hours per week)
- Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Alternate Wednesdays
- Use mechanical and electronic skills to troubleshoot and repair down equipment.
- Assist with equipment installs and upgrades and create and modify equipment procedures.
- Work to increase tool uptime through systematic problem-solving and troubleshooting, quality workmanship, and routine reviews of maintenance checklists and procedures.
- Troubleshooting – troubleshooting problems that may arise during the manufacturing process, minimizing downtime and ensuring the production of high-quality semiconductor devices.
- Preventative Maintenance – Perform routine maintenance on manufacturing equipment to prevent breakdowns and ensure optimal performance. This includes cleaning, calibration, and replacement of components as needed.
- Equipment Operation - Operate and monitor semiconductor manufacturing equipment, such as photolithography machines, chemical vapor deposition (CVD) tools, etching machines, and metrology equipment.
- Process Monitoring - Monitor and control manufacturing processes to ensure that they meet specified parameters and quality standards. This involves closely monitoring variables such as temperature, pressure, and chemical concentrations.
- Quality Control – Conduct quality control checks on the produced semiconductor wafers to ensure that they meet the required specifications and standards. This may involve using metrology tools to measure critical dimensions and characteristics of the fabricated devices.
- Adherence to Safety Protocols - Adhere to strict safety protocols and procedures within the cleanroom environment of the fab. The semiconductor manufacturing process requires a clean and controlled environment to prevent contamination and ensure the reliability of the produced devices.
- 3-5 years of experience as a FAB Technician/Operator/Process Technician
- $13.50 - $18/hr (W2/Non-Exempt)
