Eye Doctor Assistant

The Bixby Eye Center provides an excellent work environment and is currently looking for an Eye Doctor Assistant/Administrative Assistant to join our growing team! Job responsibilities include:

• Assist the Eye Doctor with patient care in the exam room
• Assist patients with contact lens education, insertion and removal
• Perform preliminary testing for the Eye Doctor
• Perform blood pressure readings
• Enter patient information into Electronic Medical Record
• Scanning and attaching documentation into the EMR
• Reply to voicemails from patients/vendors
• Notify patients that their materials are ready for pick up
• Call patients to notify them of upcoming appointments
• Effective communication techniques
• Effectively handle telephone inquiries
• Great customer service
• Excellent technical skills
• Proficient with computers
