Extraction Technician

Extraction associates will complete general lab manufacturing production while following SOPs to process cannabis into concentrates and prepare products in compliance with all state regulations. Extraction associates must practice and adhere to all Safety standards set by the company and ensure quality and productivity standards are being met.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The essential functions may include, but are not limited to the following:

• Knowledge of Cannabis extraction equipment
• Running and maintaining extraction equipment
• Maintain clean, orderly, and sanitary conditions, including floor and station maintenance
• Heavy focus on lab safety and cleaning
• Must participate in all required safety and materials training
• Making tinctures and other concentrate products
• Inventory and maintain material in extraction product streams
• Packaging and handling of raw product pre-extraction
• Properly track production data
• Must be able to manipulate small hand tools and power tools
• Must be able to maintain and use scale
• Properly handle tools and delicate equipment in a conscientious and careful manner
• All other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in cannabis extraction production environment preferred
• Knowledge of Cannabis extraction equipment
• Superior fine motor skills and hand eye coordination
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively
• Must possess focus and attention to detail
• Previous laboratory experience preferred, especially in a heavily regulated environment
• Excellent, proven interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
• Basic Math, English Language Reading and Writing ability
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Overtime required, as assigned
• Provided uniforms must be maintained and worn

Physical Demands and Work Environment

• Close visual focus required
• Ability to lift 50 lbs unassisted
• Occasionally requires the extended and repetitive use of arms, hands, and fingers
• Extended time standing, sitting, walking, bending, and reaching
• Lab environment
• Must be able to tolerate strong cannabis odors

SCHEDULE:

• Monday-Friday: 7:00am-3:30pm with fluctuating overtime as needed

Starting rate depending on experience from $17-$19 per hour with room to grow!

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
