EXPERIENCED SHIPPING CLERK

About the Company: New Method Packaging is a corrugated converter that designs packaging products for the foodservice industry.

Summary: The SHIPPING CLERK plays a crucial role in the smooth operation of our shipping and logistics department. The position requires a detail-oriented individual with strong organizational and communication skills, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. This position is responsible for processing orders and coordinating shipments to ensure timely delivery.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Determines shipping priorities, work assignments and shipping methods required to meet shipping schedules.
• Oversees outgoing shipping activity to ensure accuracy.
• Determines work procedures and schedules to expedite workflow.
• Ability to operate a forklift
• Confers with leadership as needed to ensure for coordination of any warehouse activities pertaining to shipping.
• Housekeeping duties, as needed.
• Performs all other duties as assigned.

PAY: starting at $21.00-25.00 an hour and is based on experience.

HOURS: 7:00am-4:00pm Monday-Friday

Experience and Requirements:

• High School Diploma (or GED or High School Equivalence Certificate)
• 3-5 years VERIFIABLE shipping experience
