Experienced Sheet Metal Crew Members - Kansas City, Missouri

JR & Co. is seeking experienced Sheet Metal Crew Members (FT) to join our energetic, optimistic, and family-oriented construction company. The ideal candidate has 2-4 years of architectural Sheet Metal experience, knowledge of metal roofing, coping and Formawall Centria DS58 & DS60 metal wall panels, Parapet Coping, Cut Miters, Sheet Metal flashing and trim and window flashings.

Essential Functions

• Help set-up, maintain, and clean-up project sites to ensure safe work practices and compliance with OSHA at all times
• Install Formawall Centria DS58 & DS60 metal wall panels, custom preformed metal wall & soffit panels, Parapet Coping & cut miters, custom Sheet Metal flashing & trim, Fascia, panel sills, profile closures, and window flashings

Education, Experience, Skills, Abilities, and Requirements

• 2-4 years experience in architectural Sheet Metal (as defined above)

• OSHA 10 hour training (minimum)
• Must be able to obtain security clearance on military job sites
• Hard-working, including overtime and weekend work
• Willing to travel
• Ability to perform elevated work (work on rooftops, heights)
• Frequently lift and carry 50lbs or greater
• Frequent bending, kneeling, walking
• Outdoor environment in all types of weather (8+ hours per day)
