Job Description Qualifications:
Boeing Defense, Space, & Security (BDS) is seeking a highly qualified Experienced or LeadSystems Engineer to integrate modification activity supporting the US Executive Transport Fleet. Come join our C-32/C-40 team in Oklahoma City, OK. The C-32/C-40 Program is a part of the larger Executive Transport Services & Support (ETS&S) Program which provides sustainment and modification support for the Air Force executive fleet. This Level 3 or 4 position is located in Oklahoma City.
This position is hybrid. This means that the selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at the Oklahoma City site. This is at the hiring team's discretion and could potentially change in the future.
Position Responsibilities:

  • Work with engineers and analysts to navigate issues and integration of multiple ongoing C-32/C-40 fleet modifications and studies
  • Support C-32/C-40 SEIT to complete tasks and manage baseline documents
  • Gather information to support integration project management
  • Establish key stakeholder requirements and project objectives
  • Assist in development of technology roadmap of future-looking capabilities for the C-32/C-40 fleet
  • Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential issues, and devise contingency plans
  • Review and recommend improvements to project Engineering Bases of Estimate

Security Clearance / Export Control Requirements:
This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship.
An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
  • Bachelor's degree and typically 5 + more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience.
  • 5+ years' system engineering work experience

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
  • Experience with Commercial Derivative aircraft in an Engineering capacity
  • Experience with both technical and project management activity of aircraft modifications

Typical Education & Experience:
Experienced (Level 3)
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD, Master+3 years' related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
Lead (Level 4)
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 9 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD+4 years' related work experience, Master+7 years' related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
Relocation:
Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position.
