JOB DESCRIPTION:
As a member of the Fount Coffee + Kitchen baking/Kitchen Team, you will: Prepare, portion, assemble, and garnish dishes with great care, closely adhering to recipes and presentation guidelines | Always demonstrate safe food handling practices, paying special attention to noted allergies and possible cross contaminations | Set up and stock all food stations with necessary supplies, prepping food as necessary for service | Multitask, working quickly and efficiently to fill orders without forsaking quality or accuracy during peak hours and controlling food waste/loss | Communicate regularly with the dishwashing and barista teams | Ensure kitchen equipment and workspaces are kept clean, orderly, and meet proper sanitation and safety requirements | Complete any other tasks assigned by the Fount Management Team | Have unlimited opportunities for career growth and advancement | Be a part of a team that values you and advocates for you!
QUALIFICATIONS:
18 years or older | Food preparation, knife skills, and/or cooking experience is preferred | Must have a basic knowledge of weights, measurements, volume and cooking procedures | Must demonstrate strong communication skills, flexibility, stamina + high energy | Must have the ability to multitask and work efficiently in a high volume, fast paced environment | Must be extremely detail-oriented + be passionate about perfecting cooking and baking skills | Must have the ability to learn quickly | Must be comfortable with the physical demands of this position including standing for long periods of time | Must maintain a desire to work hard + go above and beyond in basic tasks | Must have a strong commitment to upholding proper sanitation standards and a clean work space | Must be committed to accuracy, pristine presentation, and timeliness in food preparation | Must have a desire to work alongside a close-knit team, and a willingness to serve and care for fellow employees | Must be committed to being positive, responsible, punctual + professional, showing up to each shift ready to hustle!
