Experienced Integrated Security System Technician

Electronic Innovation Installers are a vital part of EI using existing skills as well as developing new employee skills to provide Turn-Key Installations of high-end Integrated Security and control systems including:
- Commercial and residential access control systems
- Network and analog video surveillance
- Intrusion detection systems
- Telephone entry systems
- Pop-up bollards and attack barriers
- Gate controls
- Low voltage control systems
- Complex systems engineering
- Project Management
Because you are bringing the EI experience to the job site, it is important that you have the customer service skills with an advanced ability to assist our customers with professional support and education.
You should have the following experience/abilities:
- 4 Years Installation experience in at least 3 of the above listed technologies.
- Strong technical/electronic aptitude including computer skills
- Basic understanding of installing security devices in a network environment.
You should possess demonstrated skills in 5 or more of the following:
- Low voltage relay logic
- Electrical theory
- Knowledge of electrical code requirements
- Condit & wire installation
- Access Control and Video software set-up and programming
- Network cable terminations
- Cable management
- Equipment trim-out
- Basic network understanding
You will need a California Driver’s license with an acceptable record, the ability to obtain secure access credentials (TWIC, OSCA, etc.) and pass a background check, pre-employment drug screen, and Social Security number validation.
Compensation
Base Hourly = $27 - $45 DOE
Strong Government Contract Work with 40% of hours resulting in Prevailing Wage of appx $65/hr.
