We are looking for a creative and passionate EXPERIENCED Florist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail and an appreciation for the beauty of flowers. The Florist will be responsible for creating beautiful floral arrangements, selecting the right flowers for each occasion, and providing excellent customer service. The successful candidate will have a basic knowledge of different types of flowers and their uses, as well as experience in handling and caring for flowers. It is essential to understand we have the pleasure of working for our customers and our goal is to prepare each order to meet customer expectations.
We are somewhat flexible and can hire both full-time, part-time, or temporary employment. (Great for someone wanting to work while your kids are in school and have your summer off or a summer job only)
Responsibilities:
- Arrange plants, flowers, and other materials to create attractive arrangements or displays.
- Basic knowledge of different types of flowers and foliage.
- Daily proccessing of flowers when arriving from grower/supplier.
- Keep flower cooler organized, clean, and flower care maintained.
- Provide customer service by phone or face-to-face interations. Answering questions and offering advice on flower selection.
- Able to be organized and complete tasks on time.
- Tools provided.
- Maintain a safe work environment.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Temporary
Pay: $10.00 - $19.75 per hour
