Position Title:Executive Producer of MorningsContent Development

Job Position Description:
The EP of Mornings and Content Development will lead producers, anchors, reporters, photographers, and editors for our 2.5-hour morning newscast. This position will manage all content, showcasing and staffing decisions during this vital time. Being aggressive with breaking news, weather and traffic will be a major focus. This position requires attention to detail and quality control in all aspects of the newscast and digital platforms. The EP of Mornings and Content Development will work closely with the News Director and Assistant News Director on the daily content plan including reporter assignments, breaking news, and special event coverage. The successful candidate will be comfortable managing all aspects of the newsroom operation. This is a good opportunity for a news leader looking to eventually elevate beyond the EP role into higher newsroom management in their career.
A degree in journalism, mass communications or equivalent experience is required. At least three years of experience producing TV newscasts and leading others required.

Annual Salary Range:
$55,000.00; based on experience.Exempt.
