Here at Zillow, our IT Support team delivers technology services and support across multiple areas, including but not limited to: hardware & software, conferencing & events, business productivity tools, and supporting various applications! Our service offering spans Zillow Group, across all brands and business lines, including Shared Services, Zillow Home Loans (ZHL), and ShowingTime Plus!
About the role
The Executive Support Specialist III handles technical support activities for all C-Level executives and their supporting team, focusing on the CEO, Executive Chairman & C-Suite Executives. Tasks include but are not limited to performing sophisticated repairs and diagnostics (system and network), equipment set-up and configuration (software and hardware), and assisting with Executive Support Procedures. They will provide excellent customer service and resolve support issues promptly and expertly, proactively working to identify potential issues and future requirements. They will escalate system issues (reported or discovered), tracking issues to their resolution while providing timely updates to key partners and leadership, adhering to strict privacy and confidentiality policies.
As an Executive IT Support Specialist III, you will:
  • Provide hands-on support for Executives and their support staff who are experiencing desktop hardware, software, mobile, audio/visual, and networking issues and provide complete follow-through to successful first touch resolution.
  • Deliver high-level IT support onsite, at special events and at remote offices.
  • Have the ability to travel and support technology needs for offsite engagements.
  • Identify and pursue new and innovative ways to improve processes, delivery of support and technology solutions.
  • Develop ideas for new and improved solutions based on needs.
  • Establish and supervise metrics on service delivery and customer happiness.
  • Act as a lead for the team and may be responsible for leading stand-ups and being a backup while their manager is out of office.
  • Be responsible for noticing and escalating systemic problems or automation opportunities and can advance to the corresponding teams to make those changes.
  • Act as a domain authority on ZG IT policies.
  • Have a solid grasp of standard processes in incident management.
  • Work with Executive Team Assistants and liaises with IT to develop a support plan and technology roadmap for CEO, Executive Chairman & C-Suite Executive's technology needs that align with ZG IT standards.

This role has been categorized as a Hybrid position. "Hybrid" employees regularly work at an existing ZG corporate office for approximately 10 to 80 percent of their time each month, and the rest of the time they may work from a remote physical location of their choice within a reasonable commuting distance from the corporate office which must be identified to the Company in advance. The Recruiter and Hiring Manager will set expectations on the employee's preferred time in office. ZG has not defined a reasonable distance, and expects employees will use judgment in determining this for themselves and understand the implications re: time commitment and cost of daily commute.
In California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Nevada, New York and Washington the standard base pay range for this role is $46.30 - $73.90 Hourly. This base pay range is specific to California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Nevada, New York and Washington and may not be applicable to other locations.
In addition to a competitive base salary this position is also eligible for equity awards based on factors such as experience, performance and location. Actual amounts will vary depending on experience, performance and location.
Who you are
  • Must be in Seattle. This role is hybrid and is based at our Seattle office (on-site).
  • Minimum of 5 years of dynamic work experience in the technology space and with C-Suite level IT support experience.
  • Shown experience supporting and diagnosing Active Directory, Microsoft Office 365, Okta, Slack, G-Suite, Zoom, MAC OS, Windows OS, Network services, Email, etc.
  • Validated knowledge of Networking fundamentals, IP Networking, Wireless networks, C/Laptops/tablets, Outlook, LAN/WAN integration and mobile assets such as iPads and iPhones, VPN and remote computing.
  • Powershell, JAMF, SCCM, MDMs, and Administrative experience in our core systems.
  • Highly skilled at explaining technical subjects to non-technical as well as technical customers.
  • Capacity to maintain confidentiality without exception, demonstrating outstanding discretion and judgment
  • Highly self-motivated and directed, with keen attention to detail.
