Executive Driver w/5 years of experience in customer transportation services. Must possess knowledge in local MD/DC/VA driving routes providing safe transportation services to and from specified locations. Must adhere to all applicable traffic laws, ordinances, and regulations.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
• Providing timely Back-Up Executive Driver services Monday Through Friday (8:00am to 4:30pm) and on-station at all times during those hours.
• Providing courteous professional appearance and behavior to achieve customer satisfaction.
• Picking up the Administrator at the exact designated times and locations.
• Remaining at the designated location until the Administrator has completed his/her visit.
• Performing duties as required to the Administrator during non-business hours.
• Presenting a well-groomed appearance 100% of the time while on duty and always conform to established dress codes.
• Knowledgeable of, and adhering to, federal government policies and procedures regarding security, and government locations.
• Maintain Driver logs recording daily mileage showing each day’s driving activity. Sign an in/out daily log at designated central location.
Executive Driver is fully conversant in English and communicates effectively orally or in writing. Proposed Drivers possesses a valid Commercial Driver’s License with neither criminal records nor any record of conviction(s).
• Inspect the vehicle daily and report any issues concerning any operating defects. Report all accidents/traffic or moving violations.
• Report to the jurisdictional police authorities, for investigation, prior to leaving the scene of an accident. Immediately notify PM and the HQ Building Services office. Provide written notification to the PM within one hour following the accident or injury. Provide a signed written Statement, concerning circumstance of accident, incidents, and injuries. Provide written signed statement copies to the PM and HQ Building Services office from the individuals and/or witnesses involved in the accident after completion of the investigation.
• Notify the PM and the HQ Building Services office immediately if Government property is damaged, or if injuries occurs.
Required Education and Skills
• High School Diploma

• US Citizenship
• Valid Commercial Driver License (CDL) w/clean driving record.
• Superior communication skills, oral and written
• Follow safety rules and regulations using seatbelt and require the use of seat belts for all passengers, drive the speed limit, no cell phone usage while driving etc.
• To not permit total occupancy to exceed the number of seat belts.
• Evaluate the government furnished designated vehicle daily for the suitability of operation concerning the braking mechanisms, steering mechanism, tires/wheels, windshield wipers/washers/parking brake, headlights, tail-lights, reflector devices, horn, rear-vision mirrors.
• Report all accidents or traffic violations
• Provide daily mileage data reflecting each day’s driving activity.
