Overview
This part-time position provides administrative support to Successful Nonprofits® Principal Consultant and also provides administrative support for the podcast, blog, webinars, email and email newsletter.
The team member works remotely using a firm-provided MacBook with HiveDesk enabled.
Responsibilities and Duties:
True to the consulting sector, there will not be a typical day. With this caveat, a sample of responsibilities are below.
- Podcast duties include (a) booking and following up with podcast guests; (b) posting the episode to the audio feed.
- Manage social media posts on LinkedIn and Facebook; this is limited to scheduling posts and does not include creating posts or artwork.
- Design and edit spreadsheets. This also includes data entry, data analysis, pivot tables and chart creation.
- Compile and schedule the weekly newsletter; this is limited to compiling content; ensuring newsletter link accuracy, entering content in the CRM, and scheduling the email newsletter. This does not include writing newsletter content.
- Support webinars by creating the signup form in the CRM, managing registrations, communicating with registrants, managing the zoom room during webinars, and scheduling post-webinar emails.
- Manage the CRM. This includes ensuring all data in the CRM is accurate; designing newsletter sign-up forms; and preparing DRIP campaigns.
- Review credit card statements for Successful Nonprofits® consultants. This includes ensuring each expense on the statement has a submitted receipt and assigned expense category; following-up on missing receipts; and creating pivot tables.
- Manage the Principal Consultant’s calendar, email, and to do list.
- Other administrative duties as assigned.
Skills, education and experience required:
- Strong writing, proof reading and math skills
- Excellent critical thinking skills
- High proficiency with MS Excel, PowerPoint and Word
- Comfort with talking to and interacting with Successful Nonprofits® community members
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision
- While a remote position, only Georgia residents will be considered
Hours
This is a 20-hour per week position and will work four consecutive hours per day, Monday – Friday, between the hours of 8:00 AM ET and 6:00 PM ET.
