The Role
As an Execution Engineer for the eMotor launch you will be responsible for implementing robust ME assembly processes. The Execution Team is responsible for the flawless execution/launch of new programs from equipment installation through SORP to manufacture eMotor components.
What You Will Do
- Provide feedback on the process development, oversee equipment installation, debug, runoff, validation, and continuous improvement activities required to produce high-quality eMotor components.
- Serve as a communication bridge between Product Engineering, Manufacturing, Manufacturing Engineering, and Manufacturing organizations
- PFMEAs Review / Simulation Review / Control Plans / Launch Deliverables / Error Proofing / NOK Plans
- Ownership of the solution from problem discovery through solution validation
- Meet program targets and metrics (Safety, Timing, Cost, and Quality)
- Work with OEM's at plant to ensure they adhere to all GM safety procedures.
- Lead the Lessons Learned gathering activity and give feedback to the central process team for BOE/BOP updates.
Additional Job Description
Your Skills & Abilities (Required Qualifications)
- 2+ years of professional experience working in high volume production operations
- 2+ years of professional experience installing and commissioning industrial equipment
- Professional experience working with fully automated production systems
- Professional experience conducting PPAP
- BS in Engineering or Proven job history in the field

- Work with Laser Welders
- Electrical test equipment
- Conveyor design and trouble shooting
- Experience working in high volume automotive manufacturing
