Form of workPeitzmeier Demolition, a local, family-owned demolition and grading contractor is looking for heavy equipment operator with proficient experience with a Excavator. Position will be primarily responsible for operating heavy equipment on either demolition or earthmoving projects. Applicants should be familiar with the operation of skid steers (foot control), excavators, and at least one of the following: dozer, scraper, compactor, haul truck, wheel loader, or track loader. We run a mixed fleet of late model CAT, Volvo, and Doosan equipment. Our dozers and our mass excavator are equipped with Trimble grade control. We have 5 full-time mechanics to keep everything running smooth. Work is based out of Omaha, and we travel outside of the metro very rarely. Typical work week is Monday-Friday 7:00 am - 3:30 pm with plenty of OT available if wanted.
Requirements
-Ability to operate heavy equipment specially an EXCAVATOR
-Valid Driver's License
-Minimum 2 years operating experience
-Experience using GPS grade control preferred, but willing to train the right person
-Familiarity with heavy equipment daily inspections/maintenance
