Position Summary
Novogradac & Company LLP is searching for an Events Registration Associate to join our fast-growing firm. The Events Registration Associate serves as registration lead, in advance of conferences as well as on-site. This role provides internal and external customer service and supports internal and external communication about the firm's conferences, including survey management, attendee communications and internal reporting. This position reports to the Senior Events Manager.
The firm has one available position in either Portland, OR, Austin, TX, Cleveland, OH, or Dover, OH.
Position Responsibilities:
Events
• Travel to 10-12 national Novogradac conferences and serve as the onsite registration lead and providing excellent customer service to attendees at national conferences.
o Prepare name badges prior to conference.
o Coordinate conference workshop handouts and distribute to registered attendees.
o Coordinate attendees' pre-event communication.
• Ensure proper distribution of Attendee Lists to internal employees, sponsors and attendees.
• Manage Attendee Email process:
o Create, test, and send out/automate emails for:
§ confirmations
§ other information
§ Post-event surveys
• Assist with managing event room blocks
o Coordinate reminders to sponsors, speakers and employees.
o Maintain the master hotel reservation list.
o Cross-check the rooming lists with the employee registration check in and check out dates.
• Survey Management
o Create event surveys.
o Manage the survey outreach for each event.
o Summarize results.
• Create event reports for the following:
o Weekly registration trends (to executive and email teams)
o Monthly registration credits
o Collections vs. outstanding revenue
o Post-event data
o Assist event coordinator with booth representatives as needed
• Manage registration websites.
o Build all live and on-demand events.
o Create categories for registrants.
o Ensure proper pricing reflects category selections.
o Build registration forms.
o Work with creative team to edit home page for each event.
o Develop & update FAQs page for each event.
o Update hotel information within registration form.
o Work with design team to publish events in website CMS.
o QA all events to be sure they're synced and the registration process is smooth.
• Support the event planner and website coordinator with event website SEO by drafting and strategizing engagement concepts.
Products
• Generate, update and circulate products-related reports as needed.
• Manage a monthly magazine renewal process.
Customer Service
• Provide coverage on customer service representative (CSR) duties.
• Answer phones and process requests as needed during peak times.
• Answer phones and manage email account as needed when CSR is on PTO.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
• Ability to effectively initiate, plan and manage projects with effective follow-through and prioritization skills
• Ability to provide a positive service experience for all event attendees, firm partners and internal employees to enhance the Novogradac brand.
• Strong overall computer skills; proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint; experience with Smartsheets and Aventri is a plus
• Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
• Ability to work effectively with others, as well as independently
• Dependable and reliable
• Some experience with nationwide events, either as an attendee or employee, is preferred
Minimum Qualifications
• High school diploma
• 1-2 years' experience in an administrative or customer service role
Preferred Qualifications
• Associate's degree, preferably in Marketing
• 2-3 years' experience in an administrative or customer service role
• Experience working with corporate events and registration management

• Compensation: $37,000- $40,000 depending on experience. More is possible if experience dictates.
