The Events Marketing Manager will lead and manage brand events and engagement for our Smoke Free Products (SFPs). In this role, you will be responsible for designing, planning, and executing consumer events and engagement activations as part of omni-channel campaigns, based on consumer needs and the brand framework. You will collaborate with other functions such as brand, digital, field team, and legal/compliance to achieve PMI business objectives, such as volume, share, brand power, and NPS.Your ’day to day’: • Lead multiple teams to collaborate with brand, digital, and consumer experience functions in developing yearly events/engagement consumer activation plan in various channels (e.g. hang out places, events, concerts, communities) by understanding consumer needs and working within brand strategy framework to meet business objectives of growing brand equity and performance, measured by brand power, volume, and SoM. • Lead multiple teams in planning and deploying various digital online to offline activities to increase awareness and equity of brands. Work hand in hand with digital, consumer experience, and brand teams to plan and execute omnichannel/touchpoint engagement activities based on specific consumer persona that fits with the target market, further measured by several key indicators such as lead generation, registration, number of engagements, etc.• Lead and supervise planning and execution of various offline engagement activations by collaborating with the field marketing team and various agencies to ensure excellent execution and impactful engagement towards specific target audience within certain timeline and budget given. Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements through collaboration with respective departments.• Participate in the development of planning and managing execution of SFP consumer program by collaborating with the consumer experience team through various stages of the consumer journey (awareness, acquisition, and retention) to help achieve SFP business objective of acquiring LAUs and rewarding existing LAUs.• Manage and exercise allocated consumer events/engagement budget to ensure the alignment with the business objectives. Manage and distribute allocation of given budget to respective agencies/field team and maximize impact towards business objective. Monitor budget utilization vs RF commitment and exercise cost saving when necessary.• Lead multiple teams in continuous development and experimentation to promote efficiencies & optimization in way of working and budget utilization.• Manage and collaborate with external agencies, event organizers/promoters, suppliers and partners, including selection and training, to ensure detailed planning, compliance to regulatory requirements, and excellent execution of planned consumer events/engagement programs to achieve the KPIs of the program.Who we’re looking for:• At least 8 years of experience working in a relevant marketing field (brand, consumer activation, field marketing, events), with 2+ years in a managerial position.• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications or related field preferred.• Legally authorized to work in the U.S.Annual Base Salary Range: $124,000-$170,500What we offer • We offer a competitive base salary, annual bonus (applicable based on level of position), great medical, dental and vision coverage, 401k with a generous company match, incredible wellness benefits, commuter benefits, pet insurance, generous PTO, and much more! • We have implemented Smart Work, a hybrid model of working that promotes flexibility in the workplace. • Seize the freedom to define your future and ours.
