Event Still Photographer (Freelance)

ABOUT THIS ROLE

The Still Photographer is responsible for taking clear, dynamic photos according to client specifications. Event photographers must be able to think on their feet and react quickly to changing circumstances. They may need to move around the venue to capture different angles or perspectives, interact with guests, or otherwise adapt to whatever is happening at the time.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Maintaining and managing photography equipment
• Working closely with event producers to create a timeline for the event
• Coordinating with other event staff, such as event managers and coordinators, to ensure that all aspects of the event are managed smoothly
• Communicating with clients throughout the event to ensure that they are satisfied with the quality of their photos or videos
• Using specialized equipment such as a camera with high resolution capabilities or a tripod to ensure crisp images with good focus
• Editing photos using computer software to adjust lighting, color, and contrast
• Submitting photos to appropriate persons
• Managing photography sessions

QUALIFICATIONS

• Knowledge of photography techniques
• Proficiency with photo editing software and camera equipment
• Communication skills
