Are you ready to step into a winter wonderland and spread holiday cheer? Winter Fest OC is on the lookout for enthusiastic and dynamic individuals to join our team as Event Staff! This isn't just a job; it's your chance to be part of an unforgettable holiday experience. As part of our Event Staff team, you'll be the face of Winter Fest OC, greeting guests with a warm smile and helping them experience the most magical winter event in town. You'll be a pro at providing directional guidance, ticketing information, entertainment schedules and spreading excitement about all the frosty fun inside for the duration of Winter Fest OC from November 24, 2023 - January 7, 2024.
Key Responsibilities of Event Staff include:

• Greeting guests in a warm and friendly manner, acknowledging them upon arrival
• Effectively communicating information regarding ticket prices, carnival rides, cabana rentals, etc.
• Maintaining the cleanliness, comfort, safety, and overall appearance of his/her assigned area
• Offer assistance to guests throughout the event
• Answering questions about Winter Fest OC and assisting guests with directions, ticket prices, etc.
• Interacting with other employees in a friendly and professional manner
• Assisting event crew with setting up/maintaining event props
• Responding to guest inquiries and concerns promptly and with courtesy
• Maintaining a level of patience with guests (complaints, lost items, general directions)
• Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of the event
• Listening, responding to, and resolving guest inquiries, complaints, and compliments in a friendly and professional manner

• Primarily outdoor event, exposed to heat, cold, humidity, and rain

• Passionate about bringing joy to people's lives and creating positive memories for those attending Winter Fest OC
• One year of customer service experience preferred, past cash handling experience a plus
• Excellent communication skills; the ability to communicate clearly and directly with guests using a positive speaking voice
• Enjoys working in a fast-paced environment
• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to perform job functions with attention to detail, speed, and accuracy
• Previous ticket system experience a plus
• Ability to stand for 8+ hours
• Must have the ability to work extended/irregular hours including nights, weekends, and holidays. Must be able to work the majority of the days of the event and arrive on time.
• Winter Fest OC is an outdoor event, and subject to local winter weather. Must dress accordingly and be prepared to work in various weather conditions.

• Pay range is $16/hr - $18/hr, based on experience.
