Event Sales Associate

We have made a prominent name for ourselves throughout the South Jersey and Philadelphia area and the clients we proudly stand beside. Our goals are quite simple - Generate as much buzz, excitement, and sales as possible so our clients maintain their competitive edge against other brands in their respective industries.

To achieve a greater market reach, we utilize a few different strategies to engage prospective consumers. We craft retail marketing and promotional events and partner with some of the leading retail stores throughout the area to expand our reach. Due to client demand, we are looking to hire an Event Sales Associate who can assist in the creation and execution of our retail marketing events and promotions, meet with consumers, and increase sales.

Event Sales Associate Responsibilities:

• Promote products and services directly to consumers by attending local marketing events hosted at major retail locations
• Engage with consumers in a professional, friendly manner and build memorable brand experiences to create positive buzz and brand awareness
• Develop a sense of trust and comfort with consumers and retail partners to drive promotions and achieve event marketing objectives
• Work collaboratively and efficiently with fellow Event Sales Associates to drive sales and promotions at events
• Share the client’s brand story in a professional and meaningful manner at all retail events
• Attend in-person and virtual events to increase client knowledge
• Refine and execute retail event and marketing and promotions strategies to support the client's current objectives and goals
• Stay updated on industry and competitive trends and regularly inform promotions and marketing team of noteworthy news items and opportunities to improve event and sales strategies

Event Sales Associate Qualifications:

• 1-2 years of experience in a client or customer-facing position (i.e. sales, customer service, retail, promotions, hospitality, marketing or brand awareness)
• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, public relations, communications or business management is preferred
• Compassionate and understanding demeanor
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Entrepreneurial attitude and ability to think outside the box
• Well-organized and can confidently manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Desire for growth and career advancement opportunities

***This position will require commuting to our office in Philadelphia, as well as our events, which can be anywhere within a 30-mile radius of our office on a daily basis.***

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $25.00 per hour
