Event Planner

Description:

We are seeking a dynamic and creative Event Planner/Sales Associate to join our team at Longhouse Axe Throwing, a premier axe throwing venue. As an Event Planner/Sales Associate, you will be responsible for coordinating and executing memorable events while driving sales and customer satisfaction.

This Role is Hybrid/Part Time - need to be relatively close to the venue for tours for potential bookings.

The pay for this role will be based on events booked at Longhouse (20% pay for each event landed). The sky is the limit as events can be booked any time/day of the week!

Pricing is 500 per hour for <20 people to rent out the space, 600 per hour for >20 people) - so example, if you booked 1 event for 2 hours with a group of 25 people...you would receive payment of 20% commission (so 1200 X 20%, $240 dollars).

Responsibilities:

1. Event Planning: Collaborate with clients to understand their event needs and preferences. Design custom event packages tailored to individual or group requirements. Coordinate all aspects of events, including scheduling, logistics, catering, and entertainment.

2. Sales: Actively promote and sell event packages to corporate clients, social groups, and individuals. Utilize various sales strategies, such as cold calling, networking, and attending industry events, to generate leads and drive revenue.

3. Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service throughout the event planning process. Address client inquiries, concerns, and special requests promptly and professionally. Ensure a seamless and enjoyable experience for all guests.

Requirements:

- Previous experience in event planning, sales, or hospitality industry preferred.

- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. - Excellent organizational and time management abilities.

- Creative problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8 – 16 per week
