SIP SIP Mobile Bar is looking to add vibrant Event Bartender to join our team. As a bartender with us, you'll play a pivotal role in delivering the ultimate farm-to-cocktail experience.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Loading and Preparation: Load vehicles from the warehouse (Costa Mesa) with all necessary materials, equipment, and supplies for the event. Lifting glassware racks, coolers, ice, crates packed with materials. Materials are organized and prepped for you by the kitchen.
2. Bar Setup: With the nature of events each bar set up will be different from the last. Bartenders will be required to adapt with each set up. Set ups are at private residences, venues and sometimes boutique shops for brand events. The bartender will ensure that the bar is organized, aesthetically pleasing, and ready for service. Some events SIP SIP provides the bar and other times a bar is provided by the client.
3. Bartending Service: Provide exceptional bartending service to clients and their guests, crafting a variety of cocktails and drinks according to client preferences and our high standards. Consumption and tempo of events range in mellow to high pace.
4. Client Interaction: Engage with clients and guests in a friendly and professional manner, offering cocktail recommendations, answering questions, and ensuring their satisfaction.
5. Maintaining Cleanliness: Keep the bar area clean and organized throughout the event and ensuring a tidy workspace.
6. Breakdown: Efficiently break down the bar setup, carefully packing equipment and supplies for return to the warehouse.
Requirements:
1. Physical Fitness: This role involves heavy lifting, lots of movement, and the ability to work in various weather conditions.
2. Alcohol Handling Certification: Candidates must possess a valid alcohol handling certification or be willing to obtain one before employment begins.
3. Bartending Experience: Previous bartending experience is preferred, but we are willing to consider candidates who are passionate about mixology and willing to learn.
4. Professionalism: Maintain a high level of professionalism, punctuality, and a positive attitude in a client-centric environment.
5. Team Player: Collaborate effectively with other team members to ensure seamless event execution.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 8 – 25 per week
