BoeingCommercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for an Event and Logistics Specialist (Level 2) to support the Customer Relations Team based out of North Charleston, South Carolina.
With guidance, you will be responsible for integrating and fulfilling logistical requirements on behalf of customers moving through the airplane delivery process or attending business meetings and customer engagements. You may also create the Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) Sales customer visit agendas in coordination with a senior Customer Relations Specialist and Sales host.
Position Responsibilities:
Uses moderate knowledge of U.S. and foreign government regulations, international cultures, customs, and company policies and procedures to establish plans
Uses knowledge of company resources and vendor services to execute plans
Executes logistics including badging, parking passes, transportation, rental car reservations, hotel reservations, catering, and tours
Develops plans for customer activities with appropriate supervision
Makes recommendations and revisions during agenda preparation and maintenance process in order to satisfy customer and event requirements
Prepares agenda drafts and final versions to be shared with internal teams, including executives, as well as customers
Assists with logistics for business meetings, customer events, and deliveries (can be on-site or at an off-site location)
Ensures the administrative tasks associated with coordinating the visits, including accurate and timely submittal of invoices, is complete
Compares invoice data (estimates vs. actuals) to identify and report anomalies
Track data and provide status reports for special events, deliveries, and customer engagements.
Prepares domestic and international shipments
Establishes and maintains relationships with internal and external customers/suppliers
Negotiates and identifies requirements and communicates to key personnel
Monitors accounts when a senior Customer Relations Specialists request assistance either for the remainder of the day or per the manager’s discretion
Provides coverage for coworkers who are out of the office for various lengths of time
Partners with Boeing Commercial Airplanes Customer Relations team members from other sites including Seattle, Chicago, and London
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
1+ years of experience utilizing Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
Must have the ability to travel domestically as well as internationally
Ability to work outside of standard business hours (evenings, weekends, and holidays)
1+ years of experience in a customer facing role engaging with internal and external customers
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Bachelor’s degree or higher
3+ years of experience in organizing, planning and facilitating large scale events
Typical Education/Experience:
Education/Experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. 4 years’ related work experience).

Summary pay range: $62,900 – $85,100
