Evening Data Entry Operator

A Swartz Creek and Burton manufacturing entity is hiring Data Entry Clerks to join their teams! Openings are available at both locations. Most openings are currently 2nd or 3rd shifts. This position involves working in the Shipping/Receiving area inside the facility, updating data using client-specific data collection systems. Hours are 4:00pm-12:30am for 2nd shift, 10:30pm-7:00am for 3rd shift (often 8:30pm start when overtime), 7:00am-3:30pm for 1st shift, when available. Training often takes place on 1st shift before moving to either 2nd or 3rd. Compensation is $16/hr.

THIS IS NOT A REMOTE POSITION, IN-PERSON IS REQUIRED. 2ND AND 3RD SHIFTS HAVE MOST VACANCIES, BUT OPENINGS ALSO COME UP OCCASIONALLY ON 1ST SHIFT. APPLICANTS ARE RECOMMENDED TO BE AVAILABLE FOR 2 OF THE 3 SHIFTS. WORKING OVERTIME ON WEEKENDS IS NORMAL, SO CANDIDATES MUST BE AVAILABLE FOR THAT.
Responsibilities:

• Entering data in the client-specific system in an accurate and efficient manner to keep up to date spreadsheets.
• Approximately once per hour, getting up from computer workstation and walking through the facility to various manufacturing areas to retrieve paperwork needed for DATA ENTRY purposes (10-15 minutes of walking per hour may be needed).

Skills:

• Accurate Data Entry abilities (will be tested).
• MS Excel experience is a plus (will be tested).
• Shipping and receiving experience preferred.

Qualifications:

• Accurate Data Entry abilities (will be tested).
• MS Excel experience is a plus (will be tested).
• Candidate will need to submit to a pre-employment drug screen prior to hire.
• Ability to work multiple shifts (2nd and/or 3rd), not just a 1st shift.
