The secret ingredient in every single dish served in our restaurants is a pinch of hard work behind the scenes. We are looking for Cooks to help make every dish memorable by setting and maintaining exceptional standards in our kitchens.
A little taste of your day-to-day
Every day is different, but you will mostly be:
● Making every single meal a feast for the eyes and treat for the taste buds
● Cleaning and sterilising countertops, walls, stoves, ovens, grills, sinks and cooking equipment
● Maintaining food storage areas like freezers and refrigerators
● Receiving and organising deliveries to the kitchen
● Basic food preparation, cutting, peeling, and washing
● Removing kitchen waste and washing dirty dishes
What we need from you
● At least one year in a supervisory capacity, or equivalent combination of education and culinary/kitchen operations experience
● Passion for delivering great service
● Experience working in a busy kitchen environment and working to deadlines
● Willingness to learn new things and work as part of a wider hotel team
