POSITION SUMMARY:
We are looking for a savvy ETL Data Engineer to join a well-established team of analysts and engineers. This person will be responsible for maintaining existing code and collaborative operations efforts. The ideal candidate must be self-directed and comfortable supporting the data needs of multiple teams, systems, and products using PL/SQL as primary language.
Our Federal contract requires that, if selected for this position, the candidate must be a US Citizen or documented Permanent Resident- Candidates will be subject to a background check.

Requirements:What We Need you to Do:
- Design, develop and package for deployment data pipelines using PL/SQL in ETL capacity.
- Build processes supporting data transformation, data structures, metadata, dependency, and workload management
- Serve as technical resource responsible for Oracle or Snowflake SQL development, writing complex queries using advanced PL/SQL concepts and, review table structures, apply indexes were needed, performance tune SQL's
- Develop software components to support data enrichment and transformation in a high traffic transactional data and data warehouse environment.
- Provide development estimates outlining business and technical risks.
- Develop and deploy software in an incremental process that is potentially shippable with each iteration.
- Provide technical and business explanation and justification for architectural, design, and coding approaches.
- Work under tight time constraints with changing requirements.
- Execute comprehensive unit and integration test cases for developed solutions.
- Regularly update technical and business teams as to plans, progress, and issues.
- Produce high quality PL/SQL code following best practices and established standards.
- Plan, design, enforce, and audit policies and procedures that safeguard the integrity of and access to enterprise systems, files, and data elements.
- Development/maintenance and defect resolution of code.
- Attendance at daily scrum to discuss accomplishments, plans and blockers.
- Adherence to agile process and defined development standards including technical design specifications (TDS), code reviews, unit and integration testing.
What We Need you to Bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or engineering
- 1-3 years’ experience with PL/SQL.
- Knowledge or experience with ETL and Data Warehouse development.
- Knowledge or experience with Relational databases Oracle/Snowflake and SQL programming.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment to meet aggressive goals and pre-defined measurement criteria.
- Creative approach to problem solving.
Preferred
- Previous Healthcare IT experience is desirable.
- Experience working on a team using Scrum or other Agile project framework.
- Ability to work in a team environment and have sound judgment.
