Bradken's Specialty Products business is a leading global manufacturer of innovative, complex engineered castings and fabrications for commercial and military applications. Bradken operates a global network of manufacturing, sales and service facilities employing about 3,000 people worldwide. How we go about our work is just as important as the work we do.
An exciting opportunity exists for a Estimator to join our Tacoma Foundry. The estimator's role is to evaluate the request for quote (RFQ) and determine manufacturing cost based on customer supplied information in a manner that supports department performance metrics and customer satisfaction.
SHIFT:1st Shift 7:00a-3:30p
WAGE: $28.00-$33.00
As the Estimator you will be receiving RFQ's and will collect all needed documentation in order to complete the estimate. Such items would include, drawings, 3D models, material specifications, etc. After reviewing all needed items, you would compute labour & material costs required to support the manufacturing plan.
You would also coordinate operations & engineering to review the RFQ's to obtain input for high-risk favors.
