Project Outline:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented summer intern to join our team and assist in Establishing Models for Subcutaneous Administration of Biologic and Application of Infrared methods for characterization of pharmaceutical excipients. This internship opportunity will provide valuable hands-on experience in the field of biotechnology.

This will be onsite, must be able to work in a laboratory environment for 40 hours a week.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct literature reviews and gather relevant information.

• Assist in designing and conducting experiments to establish Models for Subcutaneous Administration.

• Assist in designing and conducting experiments to establish Infrared methods for characterization of pharmaceutical excipients.

• Collect and analyze data and assist in interpreting the results.

• Optimize the models and troubleshoot any issues that may arise.

• Maintain accurate records of experimental procedures, observations, and results.

• Stay updated with the latest advancements in the field and contribute to the team's knowledge base.

Requirements / Qualifications:

• Currently authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship. Takeda does not provide sponsorship for internship positions.

• Available to work full-time (40 hours per week), within the core business hours of 8:00am – 5:00pm, for 10-12 weeks during the summer months.

• Currently enrolled in a graduate program pursuing a Ph.D. degree inBiomedical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Biology, Biochemistry, pharmaceutical science, or other relevant discipline, with completion of a minimum of one year of university studies.

• Must be enrolled in school the semester following your internshipwith Takeda.

The hourly pay rate range is $20.00 per hour - $46.00 per hour. The final pay rate offered for this internship may consider several factors including, but not limited to, location, skills, education, and experience.
