Escrow/Title Closer

We are looking for an experienced Title Closer in our new Midlothian, VA office who has a genuine passion for the business and loves to CELEBRATE!

This is an exciting opportunity for the right individual who enjoys being empowered to develop and drive customer retention through top-notch service.

This is NOT your cookie-cutter title role. Our ideal candidate is successful at working independently but also understands the true value of culture, teamwork, and collaboration. This person is high energy and maintains an optimistic view, even in challenging situations.

Responsibilities:

• Examine and audit all files before closing. Review requirements on title commitments and lender closing instructions for compliance.
• Act as signing agent/notary for real estate transactions and refinance mortgage loan signings.
• Ability to clearly explain real estate closing documents with customers and answer their questions at the closing table.
• Exceptional listening skills and communication skills.
• Upload and attach relevant documents to our internal files and software.
• Build business by identifying prospects; maintain existing relationships with

Realtor & Lender clients.

• Presentation and public speaking skills. Host monthly title related educational workshops for our Realtor & Lender clients.
• Mentor & support our closing and post-closing team members.
• Assist with any other title functions as needed.
• Ability to work under pressure and in a high-volume environment.
• Problem-solving skills.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 7 years of Virginia Title experience. Past experience must include processing & closing real estate transactions for a Title Company or Attorney’s office in Virginia
• Current Virginia Notary
• Softpro experience
