Escape Era, one of the top Escape Rooms in San Diego, is seeking an energetic and enthusiastic Escape Game Host to join our team. As an Escape Game Host, you will be responsible for creating a fun and immersive experience for our guests as they attempt to solve puzzles, decipher clues, and escape from our themed rooms. This is a part-time position ideal for those who are looking for flexible hours and a fun work environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and provide a brief introduction to the escape game
• Provide clear instructions and guidelines before the game starts
• Monitor the progress of the guests and provide hints when necessary
• Reset the room and ensure it is ready for the next group of guests
• Monitor email, phone, and social media
• Light cleaning, such as sweeping and taking out trash

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Must own or have reliable access to a car
• Must possess an outgoing and friendly attitude
• Must have strong writing and verbal skills
• Must be comfortable with public speaking
• Must be reliable and punctual

Desirable Attributes

• Fluency in a second language
• Proximity to the workplace

About us

An Escape Room is a physical adventure game in which players solve puzzles and riddles to complete a set objective within a themed room. Players must work together as a team to escape the room before time runs out. We offer private bookings and are open seven days a week from 9 am to 11 pm. There is no permanent work schedule as the business is open by appointment only.

If you are a student, we will work with your availability to make sure you can balance your academic schedule and work schedule. We are mainly looking for people to work weekends.
