Job duties:

• Greet and welcome each guest promptly upon their arrival
• Provide instructions to each group and help set up the Escape Room scenario as needed.
• Guide guests through their adventure by giving hints using the hint system with an emphasis on ensuring that each group has a fun and successful experience.
• Spend time with the group after their Escape Room experience to answer questions, help them celebrate their successes and ensure their overall experience was maximized.
• Take a team photo and upload to the company Facebook page.
• Reset the puzzles in the room before the next group arrives.
• Answer phone calls and provide callers with information.
• Bring creative ideas forward to improve all aspects of the guest experience.
• Work with guests to resolve issues that arise and seek manager’s advice when additional assistance is needed.

Skills required

• Customer first mentality; desire and willingness to create a fun and engaging customer experience. This is by far the most critical skill needed for this role.
• Basic technological skills – e.g. ability to navigate booking and hint system software.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and a high level of comfort talking to guests. Enthusiastic and outgoing, with excellent interpersonal skills.
• Well organized with attention to detail.
• Ability to reach, squat, kneel, and climb a short ladder.
• Ability to sit and focus for one hour time periods.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $11.00 - $15.00 per hour
