Salary range for ERP Systems Specialist is $66,950 to $108,150 depending on experience.
Summary
ERP Systems Specialist - At NAC, we have a passion for engaging with communities and creating places that advance learning, enhance wellness, and enrich lives. As an ERP Specialist you will work in a team-oriented environment supporting users across multiple departments and disciplines; to utilize our Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system to its fullest potential; to benefit the projects that we design, the people we serve and the business goals we set. This will be achieved through implementation of best practices and consistent processes, continual improvement, and incorporation of innovative ideas.
Requirements
- Participate in the implementation of the ERP system across functional teams and across all areas of business and practice.
- Understand and participate in review of processes that collect, store, and utilize data in the ERP System.
- Document processes and train users so that the ERP system can be utilized to its fullest.
- Create reports and dashboards as required and as identified through the implementation process and projects to support business needs. Identify areas where the built-in tools may not fully meet the business need for future review.
- Update and continue to enhance system usability with scheduled and user-initiated workflows.
- Work with the marketing team and others as appropriate to create processes, document and implement the full suite of Vantagepoint CRM tools including Activities, Custom Proposals, Proposal Templates, Boilerplates, Marketing Campaigns, etc.
- Support migration of historic data from legacy SQL data base system with SQL database manager.
- Update reports and dashboards as part of continual improvement of ERP System to support business needs. Identify areas where the built-in tools may not fully meet the business need for future review.
- Participate in change management through planning, documenting, training as well as engaging and communicating with Implementation team, end users and stakeholders as needed.
- Collect feedback from end users to inform future changes as part of continual improvement process.
- Track internal feature requests for review.
- Troubleshoot and resolve ERP related software issues, user access or other problems.
- Elevate issue to Systems Administrator, Deltek or Full sail as needed. Inform Information Technology Director of need to elevate.
- Maintain system standards and data integrity.
- Audit and manage security roles.
- Keep current on new feature updates and the timing of new releases to inform planning and continual improvement of the ERP system and NAC processes. Communicate to staff.
- Respond to help desk tickets related to the ERP system in a timely manner.
- Perform other job-related duties as required.
Competencies:
- Proficiency in use of ERP systems, Deltek Vantagepoint preferred.
- 4-year degree plus 4 years ERP experience
- 2-year degree plus 6 years ERP experience
- Finance or Marketing experience preferred.
- Informal or formal training experience required (training and or support of others, not sure how to word that)
- Ability to manage and prioritize tasks and projects.
- Ability to facilitate discussions across disparate groups.
- Self-motivated with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Detail oriented.
- Strong communication skills and dependable.
- Ability to understand the needs of end users and the challenges they face in adapting to changing processes and evolving technology.
Work Environment
This position operates in a professional open office environment with low to moderate noise levels including collaborative work areas for team meetings. Each office provides collaborative work areas and shared resources such as video conferencing, printing/scanning and a café for dining.
Physical Demands
- Hand and/Wrist/Finger dexterity for 8 hours a day, 40 hours a week
- Ability to sit for long periods of time
Position Type/Hours expected to work
- This is a full-time position with a minimum expectation of 40 hours per week
Travel
- Occasional travel for training, support and building relationships with end users in 4 offices.
Required Education and Experience
- Bachelor's Degree required.
- AEC experience preferred
- A minimum of 5 years' experience with ERP systems
