As an ERP Business Analyst , you will play a critical role in ensuring the continued operation of our Manufacturing and Logistics processes by managing system solutions in our Oracle ERP system. This opportunity is based in Appleton Group’s Global Headquarters in the greater Chicago area with the flexibility to work remotely up to three days a week. The following Emerson locations may also be considered: Riverside, CA – Boulder, CO – Brookfield, CT – East Granby, CT – Rosemont, IL – Shakopee, MN – St Louis, MO – Florham Park, NJ – Pittsburgh, PA – Charlottesville, VA – Houston, TX.
AS AN ERP BUSINESS ANALYST YOU WILL:
- Provide root cause identification and correction in Oracle ERP for the following functional modules: INV-Inventory, PO-Purchasing, BOM-Bill of Material, and WIP-Work in Process
- Raise Service Request (SR’s) with Oracle Support to obtain solutions to application problems.
- Identify and test application patches prior to promotion to production.
- Document solutions to common system failures.

REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:
- Two (2) years of experience with an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system, such as Oracle, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, etc.
- One (1) year of experience with manufacturing and logistics processes
PREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:
- Master’s degree in MIS, IT, Computer Science, Supply Chain, or a closely related field
- Demonstrated capability of writing basic ad hoc SQL queries against database tables
- Experience with Oracle PL/SQL
- Experience working with additional Oracle Modules (OM-Order Management, ASCP-Advanced Supply Chain Planning, ENG-Engineering, CST-Cost Management).
- Bi-lingual (English and Spanish)
