We are recruiting for an ERP Application Leader – SCM/Logistics to join our Global ERP Team.

This position is essential part of our IT ERP global team and is responsible for overall architecture and design of Logistics and Supply Chain processes within our SAP ecosystem. This role will serve as a trusted partner, advisor, and thought leader within the organization and closely work with Business Process Owners, key super users of respective towers to maintain and improve business processes and tailor solutions that best meets strategic business needs in optimization and sustainability of supply chain and logistics areas. We are seeking an experienced, functional leader who can strategize, produce detailed upgrade roadmaps, and lead execution across internal as well as 3rd party stakeholders. This role will report into the Global Operations Manager of ERP and partner closely with other Tower leads that includes Procurement, Finance, Customer service and Business Intelligence.


Responsibilities include -

  • Consult with business and capability leaders to support strategic initiatives and support business case development & prioritization. Bring innovative ideas that improve the overall functionality and usability within the business.
  • Drive S/4 Discovery and Transformation process for Supply Chain and Logistics processes.
  • Work with BPO/COE/Super users to understand existing solutions gaps, evaluate SAP marketplace offerings and make recommendations that contributes to overall ERP IT strategy.
  • Lead execution of projects which support our strategic vision for modern architecture and best in class digital experiences.
  • Facilitate the communication with IT and Business departments. Act as a liaison between the two departments and work with stakeholders to break down business processes into specific steps to understand and improve them.
  • Proactively provide innovation opportunities for applications within the business functions of the S4/SAP portfolio.
  • Work on projects/enhancements designed to improve quality, reduce errors, and design new business processes.
  • Communicate key business benefits and implications of technology decisions and outcomes to customer portfolio leaders and enterprise architects.
  • Identify and Plan projects for application modernization program to reduce legacy platform dependence and technical debt.
  • Communicate key business benefits and implications of technology decisions and outcomes to business portfolio leaders and senior executive management.
  • Facilitate continuous learning opportunities and empower business teams to work on projects with profitable outcomes.


Essential Criteria -
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience.
  • At least 7 years of experience handling SAP supply chain IT projects.
  • Analytical thinking capabilities with ability to conduct feasibility studies and make recommendations to stakeholders to align with business strategies and IT roadmap.  
  • S/4 implementation experience in a manufacturing company is highly desirable.
  • Ability to troubleshoot problems by engaging right functional resources in Logistics and other functions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to partner with Business users and business process owners.
  • Ability to perform Root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to drive effective service delivery and continuous improvement.
  • Ability to clearly understand business requirements and collaborate with technical team, to ensure clarity on design and solution that is fit for purpose.
  • A candidate with strong project management skills and the ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines is highly preferred.
  • Passion for keeping up to date with evolving trends and advancements in Supply Chain industry best practices.
  • An individual who can lead and manage our S4/Hana discovery process as well as the strategy on most profitable approaches to our future state of operation
  • Knowledge of ABAP programming is highly desired.
  • Ability to create, present, and gain agreement on concepts and recommendations to others outside of the department and to executive management.


Desirable Criteria -

  • Thorough understanding of supply chain processes and integration between SAP APO and ECC (CIF).
  • Broad understanding of Supply chain areas in SAP APO, especially, DP, SNP and PPDS and Logistics specific configurations in ECC including delivery, shipment, warehouse management and 3PL logistics
  • Point contact for Logistics and Supply Chain functional area to support various Process Automation initiatives.
  • Strong understanding of warehouse operations, including inventory control, order management and logistics processes.
  • ECC integration with connected Logistics systems like TM, GTS, and shipment traceability partners.
