Optim Medical Center - Screven is seeking a full time ER Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse (Third Shift) for our Sylvania location.
Job Requirements:
- Direct and indirect patient care that meets the psychosocial, physical and general needs of the patient.
- Meets the communication needs of patient and family.
- Provides care that reflects initiative and responsibility indicative of professionalism.
- Communicates with physicians and team members regarding patients.
- Administers medications via all routes.
- Documents care provided.
- Educates patient on disease process and medications.
- Initiates and maintains IV sites.
- Participates on Code team.
- Responds quickly to changes in patient condition.
- Ensures unit is running effectively.
- Covers Med Surg floor and ER as needed.
- Performs all other duties as assigned.
Education:
- RN or LPN Completion of nursing training from an accredited school of nursing.
