Equipment Supervisor

We have an exciting opportunity for an Equipment Supervisorto join our DO & CO Family within our Main Unit in New York.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise equipment runners who are tasked with the supply and flow of all needed equipment assigned to a department.
• Manage the requisition process for equipment. Oversee tray setup for all classes of travel, airlines and supply each station as needed.
• Maintain all production areas organized and tidy, all equipment in its proper place and in operational function.
• Review and maintain inventories for all airlines and ensure par level maintenance accordingly.
• Accomplish goals and objectives on time and assist supervisors and kitchen staff as needed.
• Comply with laws and regulations, food safety and hygiene regulations as per DO & CO standards as well as report problems in relation to that to relevant managers and the hygiene and food safety team.
• Assess, manage, and minimize risks.
• Train new team members and motivate them.
• Promote a proactive safety culture.

Qualifications:

• Awareness of the operational sequences
• Strong and effective communication skills, with the ability to clearly and concisely express ideas both verbally and in writing.
• Proactive, entrepreneurial, can operate resourcefully in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Highly organized and diligent, pays attention to detail and follows through.
• Ability to work well within a team as well as independently.
• Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment and with a diverse clientele that requires a hands-on approach to our guests' needs.
• Ability to complete assigned tasks within the given time to meet strict deadlines.
• Ability to work in cold or/and hot environment.
• Position requires the ability to move, lift, carry, pull, or push as needed.
• Flexibility for different shifts - night, weekends, and holidays.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Bilingual is preferred.
• 1 year of experience as an equipment runner or as a team leader in a similar role.
• Proficient computer skills (Particularly Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
