Position Summary
Markey's, a multi-state leading provider in audio-visual services, is seeking a full-time Equipment Repair Technician. The Repair Technician will support the Rental Inventory department by assessing and repairing equipment, as well as working with vendors and suppliers as needed. Will also handle administrative responsibilities related to equipment such as managing vendor accounts and recording repair activities/progress.

Hiring for a Full-Time, hourly (non-exempt) position, eligible for overtime. Typical daytime hours, however occasional late nights or weekends needed as business dictates.

Position Responsibilities
• Work with Department Heads to evaluate broken inventory to determine best course of repair
• Repair inventory in-house when possible
• Order parts and supplies for Equipment Repairs as needed
• Work with vendors to repair equipment beyond in house repairs (RMA)
• Perform routine maintenance on equipment
• Record all QC/Repair comments in R2 (Inventory Software)
• Efficiently maintain purchase orders to keep accounts in good standing
• Set up and manage vendor portals and accounts
• Manage yearly truss and motor inspections
• Completing inventory projects as assigned by the Director
• Work with Inventory Control to inventory and case new gear
• Work with Inventory Control to solve overdue and missing gear issues
• Obtain inventory information for the Director, Inventory Coordinator and RIS Administrator as requested
• Perform other responsibilities as assigned by the Director

Position Requirements
• Attention to detail and organization and high accuracy with every given task
• Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
• Good knowledge and understanding of all types of A/V equipment
• Experience of repairing A/V equipment, technical certifications a plus
• Desire to learn Markey's inventory at a deeper level
• Proficient verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work effectively with Markey's vendors and internal customers
• Ability to work as part of a team
• Ability to lift 50 pounds unassisted
• Forklift certified or the skill set to become certified
• Excellent computer aptitude with the ability to use the Microsoft Office product suite (Word, Excel, Office)
• Must possess a valid driver's license with a good driving record in order to be insured on the Markey's policy to drive company vehicles
