Responsibilities:
- Adhere and promote company SAFETY measures at all times
- SAFELY operate equipment (backhoe, trencher, mini-excavator, auger, and forklift)
- Load and unload equipment and materials
- Prepare construction site and clean up when job is completed
- Dig ditches or trenches, backfill excavations, and compact and level earth to grade specifications, using picks, shovels, tampers, and rakes
- SAFELY drive trucks and pull trailers with equipment and materials to construction sites
- Perform routine/preventative maintenance and inspection on equipment
- Help clean and organize trucks and warehouse areas
Minimum Qualifications:
- Minimum 1 year experience in excavating equipment operation
- Must have a Class A CDL with an acceptable driving record for insurability
- Must be able to pass a DOT drug test and obtain a Medical Examiner Certificate
- Must be able to work outdoors in all types of weather and may be exposed to extremes of climate and temperatures
- This position requires significant travel and will require you to be gone typically 2 – 3 weeks at a time
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proficient operation of construction / excavating equipment in the corrosion control, pipeline construction, or utilities industry.

Any compensation range provided for a role is an estimate determined by available market data. The actual amount may be higher or lower than the range provided considering each candidate’s knowledge, skills, abilities, and geographic location. If you have questions, please speak to your recruiter about the flexibility and detail of our compensation philosophy. For this role, we anticipate paying $23.00 - $26.00 per hour.
