SalarySundt is seeking Heavy Equipment Operator Helpers for our project in Miami, AZ. Pay Rate is $23 per hr with a daily per diem of $150. Typical shift is 4 - 10's working Monday - Thursday. Overtime per business needs. Must be able to pass pre employment background check as well as pre employment drug screen.
Job Summary
Assist skilled operators with a variety of heavy equipment, not limited to; backhoes, excavators, dozers, loaders, graders, haul trucks, dump trucks, water trucks. Will assist with preventative maintenance and pre-shift walk around of the assigned equipment to assure safe operation. Will also begin to learn to operate equipment and maintain equipment according to Sundt policies and procedures. Must have the ability to take direction from a higher skilled worker or foreman.

Minimum Job Requirements
One year experience (level I), two years’ experience (level II) and three plus years’ experience in the industrial/commercial construction industry is preferred.
NCCER Core Curriculum and /or a High School diploma or equivalent is also preferred.
Possess effective verbal and written communication skills.

Physical Requirements
Work up to a 12 hour shift doing hard physical work in varying temperatures and outside conditions.
Will climb and maintain balance on steel/wood framework, stairs, ladders and scaffolds.
Will lift, push or pull objects up to 50lbs. on an occasional basis
Required to use hands to grasp, lift, handle, carry or feel objects on a frequent basis
Must be able to comply with all safety standards and procedures
May reach above shoulder heights and below the waist on a frequent basis
May stoop, kneel, or bend, on an occasional basis
Ability to wear personal protective equipment is required (including but not limited to; steel toed shoes, gloves, safety glasses, hearing protection, hardhat, vest, etc.)
Move in and around confined, cluttered and uneven areas.
May use telephone, computer system, email, or other electronic devices on a limited basis to communicate with internal and external customers or vendors
