DESCRIPTION OF WORK
The role involves the operation of a diverse range of heavy construction and maintenance equipment for various projects within the Bituminous District. In order to transport equipment, fuel, stone, slag, earth, or other materials, you will be responsible for operating motorized vehicles within the specified limits outlined in the Equipment Operator A specifications. This role also involves overseeing the loading and unloading processes. The vehicles you will operate include pickups and small dump trucks. Additionally, you will tow trailers weighing no more than 10,000 lbs. that are loaded with various construction equipment on congested roads. You will also have the opportunity to operate a truck/trailer combination on secondary roads and streets in western Pennsylvania, with some projects located in and around the City of Pittsburgh. As part of your duties, you will position backhoes, excavators, dozers, or skid steers on trailers and ensure they are properly secured under the supervision of someone holding a Class A CDL. Finally, you will operate dozers, front end loaders, backhoes, excavators, skid steers, dump trucks (with or without tag-a-long trailers), and pickup trucks to carry out the construction of small, abandoned mine reclamation projects.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
- Full-time employment
- Work hours are 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
- Salary:In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- Six months experience in the operation and maintenance of large vans, buses and single-chassis trucks with a gross vehicle weight of 10,001 pounds or more; or
- Any equivalent combination of experience and training.
Special Requirement:
- Possession of a valid Class C Pennsylvania driver's license.
