Job description

Job Summary: The primary function of a Truck Equipment Installer is to work in a team environment to install aftermarket truck equipment such as dump bodies and snowplows. This position will require daily use of power and hand tools.
Essential Responsibilities:
• Daily use of power and hand tools
• Welding (MiG)
• Air and hydraulic hose routing
• Ability to work in a team environment every day.
• Ability to take instruction and apply it to a task
• Basic Electrical
• Accurately records time, cause, and correction on Repair Orders.

Position requires the ability to operate motor vehicles and have safe driving record. Current Commercial Driver's License is preferred but not required.

Sufficient manual dexterity to operate office equipment (or operate a PC), mechanical tools such has wrenches, sockets, grips, air tools, and other basic shop tools.
Ability to climb ladders
Ability requires a person to bend, twist, squat, reach in order to perform tasks on truck components.
Ability to lift a minimum of 60lbs unassisted.
The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate, due to tools and engine noise.
