Our hospital is seeking an Equine Veterinary Technician to help provide outstanding patient care and client service in a fast-paced, multi-doctor animal hospital.
The Equine Veterinary Technician assist clinicians with exams, procedures and surgery. The Equine Veterinary Technician will work closely with the veterinarians and technicians to help ensure all patients receive proper care and treatment.
Applicants must demonstrate professionalism, dependability, healthy and positive communication skills, and the ability to multi-task. Our next team member will be energetic with excellent work ethic and social and organizational skills. Must be willing to work flexible hours.

- Can work individually, as well as on a team
- Excellent communication skills, a sense of urgency, and working harmoniously with team mates is required
- Prior experience preferred
- Current state licensure in good standing for Veterinary Technician roles
- Applicants with veterinary experience that are not Credentialed Veterinary Technicians are encouraged to still apply, we have opportunities for veterinary professionals of all skill levels and we will appropriately assign you to our Senior Veterinary Assistant, Veterinary Assistant, or other appropriate roles.

- Handling horses - restraining, jogging, lunging, bandaging
- Processing bloodwork and labs

About Piedmont Equine Associates
Piedmont Equine Associates is located on 26 picturesque acres just off Highway 441 in Madison, Georgia. Located just south of Athens and east of Atlanta, we are a full service, equine exclusive practice dedicated to exemplary patient care in all aspects, both ambulatory and in hospital. We have a wide variety of turnout options, small and large paddocks, for our long term patients that do not require hospitalization. We provide a wide variety of veterinary services including: internal medicine, surgery, lameness, reproduction, dentistry, preventative care, and emergency medicine. The clinic features a laboratory, pharmacy, reproduction lab, standing surgery/exam room, surgery suite, and 14 spacious indoor stalls for our more intensive patients.
