About the Role
An insurance agency’s reliance on its agency management system cannot be understated. It is the hub for all internal and external communication with sales and service teams plus clients, insurance companies, and outside vendors. The Epic Agency Administration Specialist job opening is an addition to a multi-state insurance brokerage’s agency management system team. This position requires knowledge of Epic, excellent problem solving and project management skills, and great customer service skills.
Duties & Responsibilities
- The biggest challenge with Epic is staying on top of configuration adjustments and additions so users are prepared for any changes to the system (upgrades, updates, procedural changes, etc.).
- Next, comes support tickets and navigating/following up on requests to troubleshoot issues from account managers and customer service teams.
- Finally, there are a lot of different users that need to interface- carriers, brokers, service teams, and so forth. You will sit at the intersection of those parties to ensure data is being correctly downloaded, is easy to find, and download suspense transactions are handled correctly.
Skills & Experience
Qualified applicants have at least three (3) years of experience working within the insurance industry using Epic as their agency management platform. This can be in a property and casualty service role or a similar backroom, agency administration, or systems IT help desk.
