Job Description:
Summary: An ESG Analyst contributes to Cintra's success by supporting the company's Environmental and Social Governance (ESG) strategy. The ESG Analyst will assist the Global ESG Director with case studies and process improvement for sustainability activities. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring the integrity and accuracy of our environmental records which are a core aspect of our global sustainability efforts.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Lead GRESB reporting efforts for subsidiaries and support wider adoption of framework.
  • Support subsidiaries with additional ad-hoc ESG questionnaires, including coordinating data collections, analysis, drafting, and proofing.
  • Coordinate with Community Affairs Directors at subsidiaries and Cintra to improve implementation of B4SI reporting framework.
  • Support improvements of data collection efforts to streamline, reduce administrative burden, and improve quality of data for assurance purposes.
  • Provide analysis of Cintra's ESG Strategy and objectives with Ferrovial to ensure alignment.
  • Develop company-wide annual ESG presentations and dashboards for target setting and monitoring of achievements.
  • Support decarbonization efforts at subsidiaries by conducting research, analyzing data, preparing presentations, and providing ongoing support during implementation.

Education & Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Business, Sustainability, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
  • 0-3+ years of relevant experience supporting ESG programs and initiatives with a focus on environmental sustainability and social impact.
  • Knowledge of ESG frameworks (SASB, GRI, CDP, TCFD, etc.)
  • Experience with GRESB benchmarking preferred.
  • Understanding of diversity, equity, inclusion & belonging initiatives.
  • Familiarity with sustainable finance, impact investing, and stakeholder engagement practices

Professional Qualities:
  • Passion for sustainability and a commitment to driving positive environmental and social change.
  • Highly organized self-starter with the ability to work independently, while also collaborating with a diverse set of internal stakeholders to provide critical inputs.
  • Strong project and time management skills
  • Effectively manage tasks and strict deadlines with independence
  • Ability to interact with volunteers in-person and via video conferencing.
  • Superior writing and verbal communication skills
  • Analytical skills to collect, interpret, and present ESG data and metrics effectively.
  • Must be able to multitask, problem solve, and implement innovative processes within a fast-paced environment while ensuring accuracy in work product; strong focus on being meticulous is a must.

Computer Skills:
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and data analysis tools and software (e.g., Excel, PowerBI) for ESG data management and reporting.
  • Experience with preparation of executive-ready PowerPoint presentations
