Environmental Services (Laundry and Housekeeping)

Position Overview: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our Environmental Services team with primary responsibilities in laundry services and secondary responsibilities in housekeeping. As a member of Cedarcrest Environmental Services, you'll become part of a dynamic group of dedicated professionals who strive for the very best in providing a safe and comfortable environment for our residents. This position reports to the EVS Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

Laundry Services: Handle and process laundry for residents, ensuring timely and efficient laundering of linens, clothing, and other items.

Housekeeping: Assist in maintaining a clean and sanitized environment for residents, including but not limited to cleaning resident rooms, common areas, and other designated spaces.

Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with the Environmental Services team to uphold high cleanliness standards and contribute to a positive living environment.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in laundry services or housekeeping is preferred, but not required
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to the unique needs of our residents
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

Schedule:

This is a full-time position, including every other weekend and every other holiday rotation.
