POSITION OVERVIEW:
Responsible for overseeing all aspects of the housekeeping department at the hospital and surgery center including working with manager for interviewing, evaluating, discipline, scheduling, staffing, and maintaining cleanliness of patient rooms, common areas, and other areas following specialty procedures and isolation procedures as appropriate. Also responsible for overseeing cleanliness of physician offices. Is responsible for assuring all facilities of the regulatory requirements for housekeeping.
EDUCATION:
High school diploma or equivalent
Associates degree preferred
EXPERIENCE:
At least 5 years of housekeeping experience
Experience in a Supervisor role
Experience with cleaning in a hospital/healthcare environment
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:
Hospital Housekeeping including isolation protocols
Able to work in a busy environment and able to multitask
Must be able to operate a computer
